About BLAGSS

Brighton LGBT Sports Society (BLAGSS) was set up in 1997 to provide an inclusive and supportive sports and social group for the city's LGBT community.  Membership is open to all, but the vast majority of our members are from the LGBT community, and join to play sports and socialise with like-minded people.

With over 400 members, BLAGSS is the area's largest not-for-profit organisation of its kind. It organises year-round sports activities, operating as an umbrella group for various specific sport groups that co-ordinate their own activities. Occasional social events are set up across the entire membership.

We encourage our members to network with each other and to launch new sports groups. Members can also contact each other individually to pursue fringe sporting activities and can advertise their interests to other members via this website.
